The points most often missed
- Minimisation
- Only what is indispensable is processed. No video is retained here: images live ninety seconds in memory and are discarded.
- Retention period
- The general video-surveillance rule sets a maximum of one month. With no storage, the problem disappears.
- Excluded areas
- Toilets, changing rooms and rest areas. Silhouette-only mode covers security needs without a recognisable image.
- Duty to inform
- Signage at the entrance and extended information available to anyone who asks.
