Four retail verticals.
One box. Different alert grammar.

The hardware doesn't change. The behavior specialists don't change. What changes is the alert-grammar pack, the camera placement guide, the DPIA template, and the partner ecosystem. Pick your vertical to see the economics.

Independent pharmacies in Spain and France lose €22,000–€28,000 per year to shrinkage (Checkpoint Europe 2.17% × FEFE 2024 €1.124M average revenue). The 700 French pharmacies running on the non-compliant incumbent under CNIL's definitive June 2025 ruling need a compliant alternative.

Spanish estancos (12,795 across Spain) face armed counter-robbery as the dominant loss vector. AI behavior detection cannot prevent armed robbery; what it CAN do is make a time-stamped clip available to the store manager within 60 seconds, who decides whether to escalate to Guardia Civil and to their insurer. Mindora does not push evidence to law enforcement; the human responsable does.

Spanish mid-market joyerías (around 9,300 establishments per sector data) face €3,000–€10,000 annual shrinkage. The Spanish jewellery estate is in mid-modernization 2024–2025 (post-31/12/2023 Reglamento de Seguridad Privada deadline). Specialist hurto sublimits sit around €15,000 minorista. Mindora layered on top of EN 50132 mandatory baseline plus the insurance-carrier conversations under way translates into a premium discount that combines with shrinkage reduction.

Spanish supermarkets (400–2,500 m² format) lose €55,000–€165,000 per store annually (AECOC Barómetro 2025: 1.1% Spanish retail baseline × store revenue €5–15M). Self-checkout shrinkage is the fastest-growing category. Mindora's alerts cite the evidence and your team decides, since false positives cost more than they save at scale. 03 / 09 · How it works

Plug in once.
Decide always.

Mindora’s Guard is an inference product, not a control system. It flags what happened and cites the evidence. Your team decides what to do. The whole loop runs locally on the Mindora Box we ship with the install. No video leaves the building.

01

Plug in

Connect Mindora's Guard to your existing CCTV through RTSP. It runs on the Mindora Box unit we ship with the install. One afternoon.

Detect locally

Guard runs detection on-device. Six behavior specialists analyze your feeds in real time. No video leaves the store.

04 / 09 · Privacy by architecture

Compliance is a property of the architecture,
not the policy doc.

We treat GDPR, the AI Act, and the AEPD's proportionality doctrine as load-bearing constraints, not afterthoughts. Three things make Mindora’s Guard defensible by construction.

A

No cloud.
Video never leaves your store.

All Guard inference runs on the Jetson Orin NX inside the store, on Mindora’s Box. Frames are never uploaded. Not for training, not for storage, not for “improvement.” Only structured alerts cross the network, and only to your dashboard.

EDGE-ONLY · NO TRAINING ON CUSTOMER DATA
B

Article 21 opt-out.
Three mechanisms, not one checkbox.

Visible signage with QR code, per-store opt-out roster managed by the pharmacist or manager, and a technical suppression mode on the box itself. Multi-mechanism by design. The legal basis only holds if the right to object is real.

C

DPIA template.
Provided with every deployment.

A pre-filled Data Protection Impact Assessment, vertical-specific (pharmacy, tobacco, jewellery, supermarket), aligned with AEPD guidance and ready for your DPO. Not a marketing document. A working template.

07 / 09 · Switch from Veesion

For the ~700 French pharmacies under CNIL non-compliance.

The CNIL ruling left ~700 French pharmacies on Veesion under definitive non-compliance (Le Moniteur des Pharmacies, September 2025). What CNIL actually ruled: real-time gesture and behaviour video analytics has no legal basis under GDPR for retail use in France. The entire technology category, not just Veesion's configuration.

We've built our architecture to address each CNIL finding directly. Edge-only processing, Article 21 multi-mechanism opt-out, Article 13 explainable alerts, and customer-configurable confidence thresholds. The migration path is a single afternoon of installation.

CNIL FINDING · OUR ANSWER
01
Real-time analytics needs explicit legal basis.
Edge-only inference; no transmission of frames; legitimate interest grounded in proportionality.
02
Right-to-object must be operative, not symbolic.
Multi-mechanism Article 21 opt-out (signage QR + roster + box-level suppression).
03
Decisions must be explainable.
Each alert includes the specialist that fired, the confidence score, and the bounded clip.
04
The customer must remain in control.
Customer-configurable confidence thresholds + per-vertical DPIA + on-prem audit logs.
08 / 09 · FAQ

Questions buyers ask first.

01How is your reduction-rate claim defensible?+
Triangulated from three sources: Forrester TEI on Everseen (Sept 2024), Panoptyc grocery disclosure, and the Veesion Schiphol deployment. We cap our claim at 35% because anything higher is unverifiable. Our default is 18% (typical) and we recommend underwriting on 10% (conservative) when modeling payback.
02How do you address GDPR Article 21 right-to-object?+
Three mechanisms in parallel: (1) visible signage at every entry with a QR code that opens a one-click opt-out form, (2) a per-store roster managed by the store owner or manager, and (3) a technical suppression mode on the box itself that pauses inference for an opted-out individual when the staff toggle is engaged. Multi-mechanism is non-negotiable. A single checkbox is not a real right.
03How does installation work?+
Your existing CCTV partner installs the box and connects RTSP feeds. We provide the integration brief. Most single-store deployments are completed in one afternoon. For multi-store rollouts we coordinate with your CCTV partner directly and assign a rollout engineer for chains of 10+ sites.
04What about hardware ownership?+
The box is yours from the moment it ships. There is no exit penalty, no leased-hardware claw-back, and no cloud lock-in. If you cancel the software, the hardware remains usable as a standard NVIDIA Jetson Orin device.
05What about month-to-month billing?+
Yes. After the 30-day pilot, software is billed month-to-month. Annual prepayment unlocks a 10% discount; multi-year commit unlocks the enterprise tier. We don't run usage-based billing; the price you see is the price you pay.
06What about multi-store deployment?+
Volume pricing kicks in at 3 boxes (Plan B). At 25+ locations we move to enterprise pricing with a dedicated rollout engineer for chains, an MSA template for procurement, and SSO + SCIM provisioning for the operator dashboard.
07What about insurance partnership?+
We are in active conversations with several Spanish commercial-insurance carriers. Where the carrier has approved Mindora’s Guard against the policy, retailers see a premium discount on commercial multirriesgo. We make the underwriter introduction at no cost.
